Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of Tennessee - Discrimination to Chiropractic Profession
As of 10/01/2016 BCBS has capped the amount paid to the Chiropractic profession ONLY in TN.Where do they get by capping payments to one profession?
I can go to a medical doctor and get X-Rays and they charge $574. at the hospital but at a chiropractor, they can't do am exam and an X-ray and get paid for it, only the exam due to the cap of how much they pay. BCBS Pays the chiropractor less than the hospital, the chiropractor reads my X-ray right then and tells what's wrong and I have to wait a week for my Doctor to read the X-rays from the Hospital and BCBS pays both the hospital and the radiologist!
Why not just pay the chiropractor what he used to get??BCBS sure isn't saving any money discriminating against chiropractors!
